How You Can Get A Good Car Loan

By Louis Soul

If you do not have the best credit in the world and have been previously turned down for an auto loan or another type of loan for that matter, you can still get one. And, these days bad credit is common among people. So, financial market has launched a way through which the person can procure finances for purchasing his desired car despite of his bad credit score. They can apply for this loan with their poor credit record and get approval too. Whether you are aware of it or not, bad credit car loans are available and the rates are not that high; as a matter of fact it can be a pretty cheap car loan. Know your FICO score and other items on your credit report.

The greater your down payment, the lower rate of interest you can expect to be offered. Thus you are likely to get a rate that is lower than you could expect in a randomly chosen bank or a dealership. A sure fire way to find the best car loan rate is to study financing companies. And you will find that car loans have generally a higher rate of interest than any other type of loan. If car isn't worth the amount you still owe on it because the interest rate was so high or you didn't make a down payment. Applicants should be aware that they have a substantial interest rate and are required to pay the loan back in a month's time. It is quite obvious when you go to lender to avail the loan he will try, that you procure finance with high rate of interest which in turn increases their profit which might be not profitable for you.

When buying a car an agreement is signed by the buyer regarding payment of the amount financed by the lending institution, along with the agreed upon finance charge, for a defined time period. So in case of a loan for buying a car, the amount must come in your hands at the right time. You simply have to put basic information such as income status, residential proof, loan amount, etc. The loan comes cheap as lenders will provide any amount at lower interest rate. But mainly it depends upon two factors; the first one is that the amount of the loan you want to seek and the second one is the term for which you want to seek a loan. As a used car loan, a borrower can borrow the equal amount of the cars.

Secured car loan is based on the collateral security and any of the valuable assets such as the equity of home, property or the car has to be supplied. But still all those limited income earners can also afford a car by availing secured car loan. The amount which can be borrowed in secured car loan is in regard to the equity in the collateral placed. Traditional car loan refinancing can be obtained by requesting a new secured loan in order to repay the existing one. If you want to buy a car through the secured way, you will have pledge a security against the lending amount. Usually, in case of the secured option, presence of the security covers the risk of lending amount; hence, lenders offer this loan at a better interest rate.

Monthly installments comprise the principal as well the interest elements of the loan amount. In case of a lease agreement, you pay monthly rentals for a fixed time period. A general rule of thumb is that no more than 15 percent to 20 percent of your total monthly budget should go toward all your car-related expenses. If you lease, your monthly payments will be smaller than if you financed the purchase of the vehicle. You can select a new loan with approximately the same pay off date or extend the terms for a lower monthly payment. To determine a car loans total costs determine your estimated monthly car loan payments find the right auto financing alternatives for you. All you have to do is to fill in these few cells of information and in a second you'll have a report about how much the car loan will cost you in total as well as your monthly payments.

Most people find that filling out an online car loan application can save you a lot of time if you are prepared before you sit down. And after you've filled out your online application, you'll most likely have to provide your lender with additional information by fax or mail. If you've lived at your current address for less than two years, the application may ask for previous addresses. But if you haven't been at your current job for very long, the application may ask questions about previous employment. A car loan application, being both a financial and legal document, is going to ask for some information that you should have handy, not to mention a couple of things that might be asked of you while filling the form out. That is probably the reason many of us would be willing to take fill out a car loan application form before we get a car.

Getting a car loan at the dealership can take hours. You can get a car loan from a dealership or from a bank or other lender on your own. There are certain questions that you should ask the dealership or that are to be clarified when going for a car loan. If the doubt still persists, just walk out of the dealership and get it clarified. You can purchase your car either through a dealership or an individual. In order for the lender and the dealership to cover their costs and earn some extra money, you'll end up paying significantly higher monthly installments. The cars are generally used, and the dealership usually charges more than the blue book value for the cars. Some people rely on their bank or credit union for financing, while others trust the car dealership to secure a loan.

If your current car loan is too onerous, it may be due to a high interest rate or a short repayment program which implies higher loan installments. However, as you may later realize, paying the repayment installments can strain your budget. But what you do is log on to websites of numerous lenders, sort out the lenders according to interest rates and repayment terms, if the repayment duration is not so desirable. Cheap car loan not only can be availed at low rates of interest but also provide you longer repayment period along with smaller installments. This paves the way for lower interest rate, bigger loan amount and longer repayment period. - 18193

Oil ETF Wont Break The Bank

By Ada Denis

Of all of the commodity ETFs (exchange traded funds) oil is probably the most exciting, as well as the most frustrating. Until very recently, the market price of oil ETFs has been steadily rising for quite some time. Is this a direct result of the increasing price of crude oil? In many ways it is. If you had invested in oil, in any capacity, a year or more ago, you are probably quite satisfied with your returns to date.

The oil market has actually been fairly level over the past couple of months, though the average consumer probably doesnt realize this. But, new investors are starting to get concerned about their oil investments. They are wondering if the analogy what comes up, must come down is going to be true for the oil ETF market.

Every day you read in the paper or see on the news the price of a barrel of crude oil, and these prices are anything but leveling off. So what does this mean to the investor? Oil exchange traded fund investors want to know what the prediction for the future prices of oil will be. But should they be concerned about reports on the worlds oil supply? Yes, they should be concerned and watching closely. Commodity ETF trading is all about supply versus demand and futures.

Is the oil ETF investor making money when oil prices rise, or are only the oil companies profiting? To some degree all of the oil investors are making a profit. It seems that the price of all commodities go up with the price of oil, including oil ETFs. The reason for this is because the price of gasoline goes up with the price of a barrel of crude oil. When everybody is paying more at the pump, the people responsible for transporting all of our goods have to pay more to get it to the store, and so they have to charge more to the farmers or manufacturers. The manufacturers and farmers then have to raise their prices in order to compensate. So it might be a good idea not only to invest in oil exchange traded funds, but to mix them up with other commodity ETFs like agricultural.

The average investor is not likely going to be able to invest enough into the oil companies to make a good profit from them. Oil exchange traded funds, however, give this investor the opportunity to dabble in oil trading without breaking the bank. According to some analysts, there is plenty to be made in oil ETFs. All you need to do is watch the predictions for the future price of gasoline, which is talked about quite a lot in the news. However, other analysts warn that oil exchange traded funds are ready to come down and that now is not a good time to invest.

Oil ETFs may or may not be a good investment for you, only you can make that choice. Do your research and keep up with the trends and make an informed choice about whether to invest in this commodity ETF. - 18193

Is it worth it to hire outside Collection Agencies

By JR Rooney

When you find yourself in a situation that may lead to larger complications down the road, you try to find the fastest and most headache-free solution to the problem. It is always the best way to nip the problem in the bud before it even starts.

The same principle applies when you're dealing with customers who have lagged on payments, whose checks have bounced, who have totally stopped making their payments and have deemed themselves unreachable and a dozen other scenarios that will surely make your head spin. The role of your credit manager if you have one, at this point, is to decide whether to deal with these problems in-house or pass on these accounts to a collection agency that will then be tasked to follow-up and, at best, recover the money owed to your company.

Usually, a debt collection agency is called upon when you really have an overwhelming problem with your customers' payment backlog. You've already tried resolving the issue using your in-house crew and having them initiate non-threatening appeals to your accounts by making phone calls, sending letters and even making personal visits. Or, sometimes, the problem has persisted and you find that your whole business has reached its danger zone and its plight hinges on whether or not you can recover some of the money that you lost. Whatever the case, hiring a collection agency seems to be the best way to deal with the situation.

However, extra care must be exercised when you finally decide to go with a collection agency. You have to remember that hiring a collection agency means that you are turning over a part of your business to someone totally on the outside. First of all, when you choose a collection agency you have to be sure that they come highly recommended by someone who has made use of their services and have been highly satisfied with them.

It is just as important that you check with an accrediting organization like that of the Better Business Bureau. This just makes sure that the debt collection agency that you've hired is regulated and subject to a higher power if they fail to deliver on their promise.

Second, when selecting a debt collection agency, you have to consider their technological capacity and equivalent manpower to handle your demands. When you say technological capacity it means that the agency will have the contact center in place to handle any communication between your customers and the agency, with reporting to be done on a regular basis to you as the 'mother' company.

You also have to make sure that the agency's staff is trained to represent you as the client and not be seen as a third-party provider. It has been reported that most people are adverse to collection agencies and are more prone to shying away from them which will make it harder for you to go after them.

Their experience and customer-related orientation need to be as good as the fees that you'll be paying. You need to negotiate a good compensation package that will take into account all of these conditions mentioned so you'll at least be assured that you're getting your money's worth. It doesn't make sense for you to be spending so much and not getting anything in return. - 18193

Computer says no - turned down by the credit card company?

By James Baker

Credit card rejection can come as a nasty surprise - you thought your credit rating was fine, the application form was filled out properly, so why has the company turned you down? The sense of rejection, especially from companies that practically guaranteed approval, can leave a bitter taste in the mouth. But there is hope. Just because you've been turned down doesn't necessarily mean you have a poor credit rating; it could be a simple mistake such as an error on your report or a mistake regarding your address. And mistakes can be easily rectified.

Lenders are legally required to send rejected applicants a letter explaining the reasons for turning down a credit card application. Sometimes these letters can be vague, only covering the bare minimum requirements. So the first thing to do is follow it up and make sure that the company has denied your request for legitimate reasons. Although rare, mistakes can and do happen. The lender is also legally required to send you documentation stating which credit agency they used to obtain your credit history (although some lenders now use all three of the primary agencies). If your cross-referencing throws up obvious mistakes, you can contact the agency involved and have the mistake corrected. That simple error could be affecting your finances far more than you think.

For a small fee, all UK credit agencies will send you a complete report of your credit history. This includes details on your address, occupation and income as well as financial history and credit background. The agencies are required by law to correct any mistakes highlighted by consumers, making sure that details are accurate and up to date. Once you have rectified any errors you can reapply to the original credit card lender or even appeal against the initial rejection, although these cases rarely succeed. It may be wiser to wait a little while and then resubmit an application.

Credit ratings or 'scores' as they are commonly mislabelled, are mysterious tomes, usually the preserve of banks and 'the System'. However, every consumer has the right to access their records from any of the credit agencies holding details on their financial activities. Your credit rating is affected by your previous financial history over a number of years, including loans, repayments and how you have run your financial affairs. 'Black data' (details of late payments, defaults, CCJs or other failings in your credit track record) is shared between financial lenders and can impact on your eligibility for future credit. Increasingly, 'White data' is also being exchanged as well. White data tells lenders about your financial management skills and how attractive a borrower you may be. Surprisingly, it doesn't always work in your favour. Someone who always clears their monthly credit card balance isn't going to incur any interest charges and as such is not as attractive a proposition to lenders, who depend on those interest charges to make a profit.

Something as simple as forgetting to register on the Electoral Role can damage your credit rating. The Electoral Role is the primary source for lenders to confirm your address so if you're missing, the lenders have to assume that your address is unconfirmed. Bang goes any chance of getting a credit card or other loan, just through a simple mistake on your part. If you are registered then you can amend this information with the credit agencies and you're back in business. If you are turned down by several companies there may be a deeper problem, and one that requires more attention and effort on your part to rectify. Don't just hope the problem will sort itself out - you need to be proactive when it comes to managing your finances. Pay your bills on time, meet your repayments on outstanding debts and build your credit rating back up to more attractive levels.

If you have been rejected for a credit card, don't reapply straight away. Give yourself a cooling-off period of about 90 days to get your financial house back in order. Check your credit history for any errors and prove to the lenders that you aren't a credit risk by rectifying any problems that led to the initial rejection. Avoid multiple applications in the hope that one of the companies will let you slip through the net. A plethora of rejections on your credit history will do more damage, meaning you have to wait even longer to get back into the lender's good books. The only ways to improve your chances are through good financial management, an eye for detail and a willingness to take back control of your financial affairs. - 18193
